Not to mention their will be exclusive artwork for the digital cards that will not (as of now) be printed on cardboard :(. Just look at how insane that Eevee is!
My guess is that this will be yet another cash cow for the Pokemon company. We'll see if it appeals more to collectors or to players but I think we'll see some degens going ham to get these cards. And them I'm sure in a couple years when the Pokemon company wants to juice sales they will release the CARDBOARD EXCLUSIVE specialty set of all these insane artworks. Fun times!
